WATCH: Kidnapping Incident in King Williams Town Leaves Family in Distress

King Williams Town, Eastern Cape – On the evening of August 4, 2025, Altaaf Goder and his son, Mohammed Farhaan Goder, were abducted in a brazen kidnapping captured on CCTV footage. The incident occurred shortly before 8 p.m. local time, as the victims were in their vehicle near a residential or commercial property with a blue canopy.

Surveillance video shows a white SUV approaching and blocking a silver car occupied by the father and son. Several individuals exited the SUV, forcibly removed Altaaf Goder from the driver's seat after a brief struggle, and placed him into their vehicle before speeding away. Mohammed Farhaan Goder was subsequently released at the scene and left unharmed.

Altaaf Goder is the son-in-law of Yunus Valley. The family has appealed for prayers for his safe return. As of August 10, 2025, no further public updates on Altaaf Goder's status or the kidnappers' identities have been reported.
