The Valke Laerskole Rugbyvereniging, the organizing body for primary school rugby in the region, has referred the matter to the Valke Rugbyunie for further investigation. As an immediate response, three individuals involved in the incident have been banned from attending the semifinals of the local primary schools’ rugby league, which are scheduled to take place today at Hoërskool Dr. Malan. The league final is set to be hosted at the same school next week.

Ettienne de Lange, the chief executive officer of the Valke Rugbyunie, was contacted for comment but had not responded by the time of publication.
