KwaDukuza, June 16, 2025 – A single-vehicle accident on the N2 near Kwadukuza left five occupants injured earlier today, according to IPSS Medical Rescue. The incident occurred when the vehicle lost control and rolled multiple times.
IPSS Medical Rescue paramedics arrived at the scene and found one person with critical injuries, two with serious injuries, and two others with minor injuries. Advanced Life Support paramedics stabilized the critically and seriously injured patients on-site before transporting them to a nearby hospital. The two occupants with minor injuries were taken to a medical facility by another ambulance service.
Emergency responders urged drivers to exercise caution when passing accident scenes, noting that a Road Traffic Inspectorate (RTI) member and a fireman narrowly escaped being struck by two vehicles that failed to slow down during the active response.
