The incident unfolded along the B10, a vital tarred corridor that facilitates cross-border freight transport connecting Namibia with neighboring Angola, Zambia, and Botswana, and runs close to the Kavango River. As the vehicles closed in, the oncoming side tipper interlink veered unexpectedly across the center line onto the wrong side of the road.
