The video, shows the large commercial truck swerving between lanes for more than two minutes. The vehicle repeatedly crossed into oncoming traffic, forcing other drivers to take evasive action to avoid direct impacts. Several passenger cars attempting to overtake the truck also narrowly escaped collisions as the truck's path became increasingly unpredictable.

According to details from the recording, the truck's erratic movement began abruptly and continued without apparent correction from the driver. Oncoming vehicles braked sharply and shifted lanes multiple times to maintain distance, while vehicles behind the truck slowed to prevent rear-end contact. The highway, known for its high volume of freight and commuter traffic, amplified the risk posed by the truck's 18-wheel configuration and substantial mass.

The truck eventually came to a halt on the roadside shoulder after drifting off the pavement. A separate clip from the scene depicts the driver positioned face-down on the ground adjacent to the cab, exhibiting convulsions consistent with a seizure. Multiple bystanders, who had pulled over after observing the weaving, assembled in the vicinity and remained at a distance while monitoring the situation.

Emergency services were alerted by witnesses present at the location. An ambulance arrived promptly and transported the driver to a nearby medical facility for immediate treatment. No additional injuries were reported among other road users or bystanders, and inspections of the truck revealed no structural damage or spilled cargo that impacted the roadway.

The truck belongs to GP Van Nierkerk Vervoer, a South African-based transportation firm operating routes through Namibia. A representative from the company verified the authenticity of the footage and the sequence of events. The firm stated that it is pending a formal medical assessment from attending physicians to determine the precise cause of the driver's collapse and any long-term implications for the individual's health.

This event underscores the potential hazards of sudden medical events for commercial drivers on interregional highways. Namibia's road network, which includes several multi-lane corridors connecting key economic hubs, handles a significant portion of cross-border freight daily. Authorities have not released further details on traffic disruptions caused by the stoppage, but the incident lasted approximately two minutes of active maneuvering before resolution.
